1. Social worker in primary or secondary schools

• Develop and implement measurable goals and objectives which address student's emotional needs (related to school adjustment).
• Provide interventions for students in crisis (for example team building activities, self-confidence enhancement activities, interpersonal communication sessions, group therapy sessions)
• Provide strategies, support and resources to help teachers manage social/emotional issues in the classroom.
• Create support measures from both staff and students in case of cases of abuse or neglect and discuss them with headmaster/ mistress
• Facilitate social skills activity groups.
• Serve as a member of the school based student support team/ or develop measures to form one
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings (if any) on issues related to children's social/emotional well-being.
• Serve as member of the crisis team in your respective work place.
• Maintain interim records of the work development

2. Social worker in nursery schools (Early childhood education)

• Provide strategies, support and resources to help teachers manage social/emotional issues in the classroom.
