2019 Nursing and Midwifery Internships (Dar es salaam and Kilimanjaro)

Positions: Physiotherapists, Midwifes and Nurses (3 places per each position per hospital)
Duration and salaries: Minimum 1 month. Unpaid internship / assignment
Qualified candidates: 2nd year onwards: University or college students
Type of Hospital: Private and Public Referral hospitals

BRIEF ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
As an intern, you will be attached to the unit of your interests based on the competence you would like to develop. Most assignments will be in casualty and inpatient services, Gynecology, Internal medicine, Maternity (antenatal & postnatal), Obstetrics, Outpatient and Surgical ward (operation room). You will be attached to a qualified colleague who will be your mentor during work. With this mentor you will learn the working styles and ask all questions you might have at work.

SUPPORT DURING YOUR INTERNSHIP
Tanzania Appointments will be responsible for the entire process of your assignment preparations in Tanzania. We shall coordinate your application; deliver you all necessary documentations for visas applications as well as offer accommodation and ground support for successful implementation of your internship. A programme fee will be charged per month for your internship. The fee will cover your accommodation in a shared room with one other colleague, breakfast and dinner, transport to work (if your work place is over 45 minutes away), support and operation costs, application processing and hotel supervision fees. You are responsible of your Air ticket, medical insurances, visa application costs and finances in case you will need to do any touristic travels or activities outside the internship programme in Tanzania.
