ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP/ ASSIGNMENT
You will be attached to the teaching team where you will take roles in teaching kindergarten students, organize supportive activities and teaching assistance. In addition you will be encouraged to develop activities or interventions that will support the children in confidence building as well as personal. Designing teaching plans and curriculum implementation would be an additional element that you will be able to contribute during your time in Tanzania. If you come from the countries other than Africa, comparing the curriculum in Tanzania and the one of your country would be ideal in order to add new elements that will support the education especially in the poor kindergraten communities.
It will also be appreciated if you could design a social program for the students as well as conducting discussion with teachers to see how different challenges can be avoided. That will support the development of schools’ services to children. You will be attached to a colleague who will be your mentor during work. With this mentor you will learn the working styles and ask all questions you might have at work.

A programme fee will be charged per month for your internship. The fee will cover your accommodation in a shared room with one other colleague, breakfast and dinner, transport to work (if your work place is over 45 minutes away), support and operation costs, application processing and hotel supervision fees. You are responsible of your Air ticket, medical insurances, visa application costs and finances in case you will need to do any touristic travels or activities outside the internship programme in Tanzania.
